SSAB Virsbolt 160 and SSAB Virsbolt 160+

SSAB Virsbolt 160 and 160+ are mostly used for tunneling and construction, but could also be used in the mines.

SSAB Virsbolt 160 and 160+ are deliverd in thickness of 2 mm, and the bolts are delivered in bundles of 50 bolts per bundle.

The bolts have a loading capacity of 160 kN. Virsbolt 160+ is made of special steel and has gone through a precise annealing process to give the bolts excellent elongation characteristics whilst maintaining good load bearing capacity. This gives Virsbolt 160+ better capacity to follow rock deformation with squeezing ground or high strain concentration areas. The products are available within the length range of 2.4 - 6.0 meters.
