SSAB is committed to responsible business practices. Our success depends on establishing and maintaining trust with stakeholders inside and outside our company. Employees and stakeholders are urged to report suspected violations of SSAB´s Code of Conduct and laws so that SSAB finds out about them in time and is able to remedy situations and incidents that contravene our Code of Conduct and risk damaging SSAB and our employees.
External stakeholders can report serious violations or breaches of laws or the Code of Conduct via SSAB’s global whistleblowing system the Ethics Line. Reports can be submitted on-line through the web, a mobile app or by calling (hotline) the country-appropriate phone number listed in the detailed instructions. The Ethics Line is operated by an external third party and the reports are forwarded to designated persons at SSAB for investigation. The Ethics Line system is available 24/7. Please be assured that the Ethics Line will be managed confidentially, and you can report anonymously.
For more information about the Ethics Line, please read the Information regarding the Ethics Line
Please note that the Ethics Line is not intended for issues related to products or services.
You can also report via local internal reporting channels (within EU) when available. If you choose to report locally, the investigation will be conducted by locally appointed persons (contact information and policy for SSAB EMEA AB). In addition, you can also report externally to national competent authorities. Contact Internal Audit Jan Haglund or Ethics & Compliance Kristin Nordström for information when these alternatives are available and how to report.
Information about how SSAB collects and processes personal data received in the Ethics Line and the local internal reporting channels is available in SSAB´s privacy statement for whistleblowing channels.
